It’s Tuesday again and that means another round of the Slebrity Street Sale on the Slebrity sim.
My dress is by Liv Glam for the event and is available for just $50L on Tuesday only, at midnight just like Cinderella, well kinda, the price will go back up to full price. So you really have to go now ok!?! The dress comes with some shoulder gems that I’m not wearing as I wanted a more casual look but that look great on the dress.
Also available at the sale are these shoes by Hollyhood Shoes. I think the brown/bronze colour is fab as is the texture, straps and shoe styling giving them a bit of a gladiator shoe feel. The feet themselves look great and I liked the colours that are available in the nail varnishes. I will definitely wear them over and over.
The only “problem” that I had was matching the skin using the hud as there was no facility to manually input the RGB values on the hud (as far as I could see and no guidance note was provided) which would have been a godsend as I suck so bad at using the colour pickers to select my skin. It was also tricky to see what number RGB values I had selected in the colour picker because the hud itself is patterned and the numbers blended in a bit. In the end I think I got a fairly close match but it was not as exact as I would like. However much of the foot is covered by the shoe itself so the match I made is probably fine day to day and in photos. I do think the shoes are well worth the effort to tint them.
My cute as swan bag is by …:::Le Primitif:::… for Chapter Four and I think it was a Gacha item so lots of colours to grab. I was pretty pleased to get the black version as that goes with everything of course! You receive two bags one with a pose and one without and the bag holding pose was great for my photos although I tweaked the left hands position a bit using Animare Pose & Animation System which is great for little tweaks to move a hand hidden in a skirt etc for photos.
Finally I am wearing the new Katya skin in natural by Izzie’s. When I saw the photo I think I had the Marketplace link to buy the skin open for several hours whilst I decided whether I needed a new skin (who was I kidding I am a total skin addict) or had similar skins already. In the end I realised that I always need lovely new skins like Katya and ordered it from the Marketplace. The pack was over $1000L but in it you receive the shape, skin in 8 different versions for the different brow colours and cleavage options, 12 lipsticks, 1 eyeline, 10 eyeshadows, 2 freckle layers and a moles layer as well as glove for your hand to wear with nails like my set by Jamman that I wear when I’m not wearing Slink hands.
